Swearing is something that belongs to language learning, but is rarely if ever taught. That said, it remains one of the things that people seem to learn the fastest when they visit any country with a different language. In German swearing isn’t done as much as say in English. In fact, often English swears are used. The most common German swear word is Scheisse (read post here). Here are some videos to the topic of swearing in German. Like in most cultures, swearing is considered rude, though some studies suggest that those who swear are more likely to be honest.
